Fisherman Surf School is the leading Surf School in Vila Nova De Gaia.

Founded in 2006 and open all year around . This Surf School invests in a unique and diversified program in the North of Portugal, oriented towards sport, animation and tourism. With a Fisherman Surf School promotes daily SURF and STAND UP PADDLE classes and Surf Rentals ,

The goal of Fisherman Surf School is to promote the respect for the ocean and the beaches of Vila Nova de Gaia while enabling people to surf safely and ethically.


this is the  top surf school and we run daily courses all year long In the Northern region of Portugal,.


Our programs are supported by a technical staff with the FPS accreditation,  and years of expertise instructing these sports.

We search the best daily conditions fors  fast and ideal training environment so that our athletes can grow swiftly and safely.

Escola de Surf  de referência em Vila Nova de Gaia, fundada em 2006, com aulas diárias todo o ano. 

Com uma oferta diversificada, a escola promove aulas de SURF e STAND UP PADDLE com uma equipa de professores credenciados pela FPS com uma larga experiencia nestas modalidades na zona Norte do Pais.

A Fisherman Surf School tem por missão possibilitar a  prática do Surf de forma segura e consciente, além de incutir o respeito pelo mar e pelas zonas balneares de Gaia.


Na Fisherman Surf School, as nossas aulas são suportadas por uma equipa técnica constituída por treinadores licenciados em Educação Física e Desporto e credenciados pela FPS, com larga experiência no ensino destas modalidades desportivas. Procuramos e acreditarmos numa procura das melhores condições de treino  para evolução rápida e segura dos nossos atletas.

  • Professor creditado  com o nivel 1 pela Federação Portuguesa de Surf.
  • Licenciado em Educação Fisica e Desporto com especialidade em Atividades de  Exploração da Natureza.
  • 30 anos de prática de Surf.

  • 6 anos de Prática de Stand up Padlle na  vertente ondas.
  • 1º Lugar Junior no inter socios do Surf Clube de Miramar.

Aulas de Surf

  • As nossas aulas de Surf são suportadas por treinadores capazes e certificados de forma a garantir uma evolução rápida e segura ao aluno.
  • Adequamos o treino dos alunos por nível de experiência, de forma a adaptar o treino  durante 1h 30m. 
  • As nossas aulas incluem todo o material necessário, prancha ajustada ao nível do aluno e um fato de qualidade. 
  • Temos cursos de iniciação e intermédios, aulas de grupo e individuais a partir dos 7 anos.

A Fisherman Surf School tem por missão promover a prática do desporto de forma segura e consciente, além de incutir o respeito pela natureza, adaptamos a Reserva Natural do Estuário do Douro para as nossas aulas de STAND UP PADDLE – SUP, este SPOT privilegiado possibilita momentos unicos tendo como pano de fundo uma paisagem muito pinturesca da cidade.


STAND UP PADDLE ( SUP ) LESSONS

The Fisherman Surf School's mission is to promote the practice of  this sport in a safe and conscious way for ours students, therefore we adapted the Local Nature Reserve of the Douro Estuary for the practice of STAND UP PADDLE - SUP, this privileged SPOT allows a unique  contact with nature whith the  city of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia as cenery.

  • As nossas aulas incluem tudo o que é necessário , prancha ajustada ao nível do aluno e um fato de qualidade. 
  • Temos cursos de iniciação e intermédios, aulas de grupo e individuais a partir dos 7 anos.

  • Our  Surf kids classes are supported by qualified and certified trainers, to ensure a quick and safe evolution for the student.
  • Adequate the student training by experience, age and level  during 1h30.
  • Our classes use everything you need from a board adjusted to the student's level and a quality wet suit.
  • We have initiation and intermediate courses, group classes and individuals from 7 years.
